Who designs the range's and where is everything made?
All Freckles products worldwide are designed and styled in Australia by our talented development team. Twelve months in advance of any new season, our design team are working on the latest themes, colour stories and "fashion" trends.
Freckles products are made in many places around the world depending on availability of raw materials, manufacturing capabilities and import restrictions of receiving countries. Most of our bed linen is made in China and our quilted products in India.

Are the products machine washable?
Yes, but it is better to avoid powders with optical brighteners or bleaches. The bedlinen can be tumble dried but the coverlets are better line dried out of direct sunlight.

Do your sheet sets come in King Single?
Yes, in all designs.

What is percale?
The greatest misconception is that percale is always 100% cotton. This is not neccesarily so. The term Percale refers to a smooth finely woven sheeting with a minimum thread count of 180 threads per square inch, or 220 threads per 10 square centimetres. It can be made from a variety of fabrics. Freckles uses 100% cotton percale for its printed bedlinen.

What age do your products cater for?
From nursery through to early teens. Although some designs are timeless and found on a few parents beds too!

What do the curtains look like?
Different designs have different curtain makes. For newer current designs like 'Rainbow' we most commonly offer a pair of printed tab top curtains in the duvet front version with a 2 pass blockout lining for $89.95.  Some older designs like 'Butterfly Garden' and 'Farmyard' have unlined fabric Tap Tops at $69.95, and 'Fairy Garden' has Appliqued curtains at $129.95. Hot Chocolate and Dragonfly also have an additional appliqued Sheer Curtain option for a beautiful translucent effect. All come packaged in pairs.

Can I buy the bed or other furniture in the picture?
Selected furniture is available by phoning the office NSW - 02 9326 5111. We do not sell furniture online but are happy to place a phone order if stock is available. Please view the furniture category for an up-to-date list.
Some timber beds have been borrowed from Sirrocco homewares in Willoughby NSW - 1800 888 836.

Why doesn't my design have sheets? 
It probably does - but they are called something else. We often coordinate a basic sheet across several designs. Have a look at the picture and match it to what is available in the Sheeting category. For example 'Magic Spot', and 'Morrison' tie-dye. These are generic sheet stories, and along with our 'Fashion Dye Basics' range co-ordinate with a number of designs.

Why isn't there a wool rug, listed for my chosen design?
NOT ALL DESIGNS HAVE ALL PRODUCTS.  We try to ensure that there there is something available in the collection that goes with every design. So have a look at what is in the main room setting picture and browse the rug section to find it. We sometimes offer more generic design options like the Striped Palm and Heart collection.

Why are King Single Duvet Cover Sets not available?
We do not manufacture King Single duvet cover sets in any of our designs because this size duvet is extremely hard to come by. Double duvets are normally used on King Single beds.
