The Freckles Story

Freckles is owned and managed by husband and wife team Victoria Lewis and Myron Mann who are also the parents of two young daughters. A firm believer that children's bedrooms are vital to their development and creativity, Victoria was frustrated by the lack of classic, quality homewares available which provided the catalyst for bringing her vision to life.

Central to this vision is the idea that bedrooms should be magical kingdoms, fairy gardens, country farmyards and any number of special places that children love to visit in their imagination. They should also encourage rest and appeal to both kids and parents alike.

So in late 2003, Victoria and Myron launched their vision to an eager Australian market under the name "Freckles - Irresistible Homewares for Kids". The enthusiasm that met Freckles initial launch prompted an expansion into overseas markets where its popularity has continued to grow. Freckles is today selling in some 19 countries worldwide, with a presence in prestigious stores such as David Jones in Australia and Harrods in London.

Freckles, which remains a privately-owned Australian company, has become reowned for its gorgeous bedding, which comes in a large range of designs and includes beautiful hand-stitched coverlets and quilts, sheet sets and blankets from nursery to queen size. Catering to children from infancy through to early teens, Freckles has more recently expanded its products offering to home accessories and childrens' lifestyle products, with many more innovations still to come!
